The launch of the "Cambodia National Vocational Skills Standards Development" project took place at Zhongde Dongliang.
The launch meeting of the "Cambodia National Vocational Skills Standards Development" project was grandly held at the Zhongde Dongliang & Nobel Technology Industrial Park on the morning of October 22nd. Chan Vicheat, Deputy Director of the General Department of Labour and Vocational Training of Cambodia, and relevant responsible persons from the Vocational Capacity Building Division of Shandong Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Jiang Zuodong, Chairman of Zhongde Dongliang Group, attended and delivered an address. Teang Sak, Director of the Standards and Curriculum Department of the General Department of Labour and Vocational Training of Cambodia, together with relevant department heads and representatives of Chinese cooperative colleges and universities, participated in the meeting online.
The launch of this project is not only a cross-border connection of vocational education, technical and vocational education, and vocational standards, but also an important link for China-Cambodia people-to-people exchanges. Relevant responsible persons from the Vocational Capacity Building Division of Shandong Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security pointed out that vocational education and technical and vocational education are a "bridge of hearts" for people-to-people connectivity, and the process of joint standard development is also a process of technology sharing and cultural mutual learning. Deputy Director Chan Vicheat stated that he expects to cultivate more local talents in Cambodia who are proficient in technology and familiar with rules through cooperating with China on skill standards, and inject impetus into Cambodia's industrial upgrading.
As a core institution of the Cambodia Technical and Vocational Standardization Committee and a key carrier for technical standard transformation and equipment implementation, Zhongde Dongliang will, with a strong sense of responsibility and mission, successfully complete the standard development task with high quality, create "high-quality standards" that can stand the test of practice, and contribute "Shandong wisdom" and "Chinese solutions" to Cambodia's vocational capacity building.
The meeting also included sessions such as "Sharing Experience in the Internationalization of Vocational Education Standards" and "Announcing the Project Implementation Plan", providing ideas for Chinese cooperative colleges and universities to participate in subsequent standard development and deepen China-Cambodia vocational education cooperation. The launch of this project marks the official implementation of cooperation between China and Cambodia in the field of vocational skills standards, and also builds an international cooperation platform for all participating colleges and universities. In the future, all parties will work together to promote standard development and help the high-quality development of vocational education in both countries.
